Trying to push your vector hard but keep breaking the fragile tappet system? Not anymore! With this upgraded linkage kit broken vector tappet linkages are a thing of the past! Included in this kit: – CNC 6061-T6 Aluminum Tappet Linkage – 2mm x 3/8″ SUS304 Stainless Steel Rod (x2) – Instructions Instructions for 2mm rods (ignore if using HPA): ALWAYS WEAR PROPER EYE PROTECTION DURING MODIFICATION AND INSTALLATION – DRILL BITS CAN BREAK AND HURT YOU This is best done on a drill press where the tappet plate and nozzle linkage can be secured in a vise. Using a 5/64ths drill bit, drill into the center of the tappet plate extension rod to a depth of 3/8″. Next secure the nozzle linkage and drill completely through the center of the extension and insert the steel rod. This should result in a near perfect fit requiring minimal force to insert – if you wish you can additionally add some super glue during insertion. This will dramatically increase the lifespan of the AEG components. Will work with Airsoft Junkiez Vector HPA kit, other HPA kits unknown. Modification may be required for perfect fitment due to manufacturer’s tolerance limits. The use of a light grease is recommended for the aluminum linkage piece to reduce wear. Due to the handmade nature of this product the item received may not match product photo cosmetically but will still function as expected.
